BeginnerThe most popular dive qualification in the world, the PADI Open Water Diver Course qualifies you to dive by teaching you the fundamentals of scuba diving including both the techniques and equipment. Anyone over the age of 10 who is relatively fit and healthy and who can swim 200 metres can take the course.
The full certification course consists of 3 parts:
| 1. Theory | Parts 1 and 2 are known as the Referral Course and can be taken together. You will be suprised at how easy it is: most of the theory element can be completed in the comfort of your own home using video or CD-ROM and the pool training takes place in a heated indoor pool. |
| 2. Pool Training |
| 3. Open Water Dives | Once you have completed the Referral Course you need to make 4 open water dives with your instructor. |
Referral CourseAt Sunsea Divers we know how hard it is for many of our clients to fit in with a given timetable and so we offer a selection of flexible ways of completing the Course. The following options are available, contact the office to make arrangements.
